CAFE ANGELINA PARIS

The legendary “salon de the'” was founded in 1903. Designed in the “Belle Epoque” style, it was one of the most elegant parlors of Paris. It became an institution frequented by elite Parisians including Marcel Proust and Coco Chanel.

The legendary landmark of Paris was replicated in NYC in great detail.

Here DOARC has meticulously recreated the original Parisian beaux arts image, including glass ceilings, frescos, multiple tiered moldings, chandeliers and sconces. The experience is emphasized by careful scaling and sequence of grand spaces. Approximately 3,000 SF, it includes retail at the front, casual service, and formal dining seating for approximately 60 persons. A new commercial kitchen and bakery was created in the cellar.
