ELSEWHERE PERFORMANCE CENTER

Elsewhere is a multimedia Arts and Performance venue for over 1500 people in Bushwick.

At nearly 30,000 SF, it is one of Brooklyn's largest. Three separate halls, several bars, indoor and outdoor gallery exhibition spaces, and an outdoor rooftop concert venue for 500 people.

The project started as an addition to an existing industrial building of 13,000 SF. We removed an entire side of the existing building. A new volume of 5,000 SF with 25 FT ceiling height was tagged on, to become the main concert hall.

The targeted high occupancy created numerous challenges from a code and zoning perspective. Numerous stairs and elevators where added to comply with assembly and ADA requirements.
