BROOKS BROTHERS
Headquarters Restaurant and catering hall
The project program was to provide a new hospitality space for the historic clothing brand, under the ownership of Claudio DelVecchio of the Luxoctica family.
The project expands the historic Brooks Brothers Madison Avenue headquarters building by annexing an adjacent building on East 44th Street.
Organized on three floors, the program included 500-person occupancy steak house, a jazz club at the cellar level, and catering event halls at the upper level.
The Decor displays historic memorabilia and artwork accumulated over 200 years, such as Abraham Lincoln's cape, historic military uniforms and celebrity endorsements.
The project also showcases Brooks Brothers world of fabrics with precious tartans and leather from all over the world.
Colorful Terrazzo floors and rich ceiling patterns define the old-world image.
The dining rooms, each with their own identity, would have a visual connection to the adjacent bar, as well as the grand stair. Fireplaces, wine displays, mirrors and artwork, all contribute to the identity of the rooms.
