ZENGO

The unique space presented multiple challenges from the beginning.

A grand, cavernous space, with over 7000 SF on three floors, and ceiling heights of nearly 50 ft in the main area. The space went through several owners and makeovers that always failed.

Our program was to break the space down into 3 distinct and overlapping concepts. The Mezzanine level we designed an intimate sake and sushi lounge.

At the cellar level the concept was Mexican, with a tequila lounge called Biblioteca. At the main level became combination of the 2, serving Mexican Asian fusion fare. Many decorative elements were sourced in Mexico.The custom furniture was provided by Munrod, NY

We were hired as Architect of Record and worked closely with Avroko as designers.
